It is essential that the Government views each of these components as integral stages within one singular innovation process in order to see the shift required to reboot the UK&#8217;s growth.<\/p>\n<h3>Current challenges in UK innovation<\/h3>\n<p>Despite a history of groundbreaking innovations, the UK struggles to attract the levels of investment seen in other leading markets, undermining confidence in its R&amp;D capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The recent election has provided a timely opportunity for the UK to reassess its innovation strategy for long-term sustainability.<\/p>\n<h3>Ayming&#8217;s recommendations<\/h3>\n<p>Ayming identifies three critical stages in the innovation process: nurturing innovation, incentivising innovation, and rewarding innovation.
