{"id":4097,"date":"2020-03-10T09:07:22","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T09:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.innovationnewsnetwork.com\/?p=4097"},"modified":"2024-10-24T08:44:06","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T07:44:06","slug":"cardlabs-new-partnership-could-result-in-a-more-secure-hardware-wallet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.innovationnewsnetwork.com\/cardlabs-new-partnership-could-result-in-a-more-secure-hardware-wallet\/4097\/","title":{"rendered":"CardLab\u2019s new partnership could result in a more secure hardware wallet"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The secure cryptocurrency wallet maker, eSignus, has recently partnered with CardLab in order to develop a more secure hardware wallet, the HASHWallet.<\/h2>\n<p>The secure cryptocurrency wallet maker, <a href=\"https:\/\/esignus.com\/\">eSignus<\/a>, has partnered with a leading electronic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.innovationnewsnetwork.com\/ebook\/cardlab-biometric-expertise-security-solutions\/\">smart card manufacturer<\/a>, CardLab, to create and manufacture a new secure cryptocurrency hardware wallet solution.<\/p>\n<h3>Introducing the new cryptocurrency smart card<\/h3>\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/gethashwallet.com\/\">HASHWallet<\/a>\u2122 hard wallet is a cryptocurrency smart card that offers a higher level of security and provides a much better convenience than other hardware wallets on the market, based on a series of technical features and advantages that make it unique.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a non-programmable device, it is designed to create a totally secure space to sign transactions and to safeguard the user\u2019s keys;<\/li>\n<li>The card stores the private key without anyone knowing it, not even the user. This key cannot be accessed from the outside in any way. Therefore, the card is invulnerable and cannot suffer external attacks; and<\/li>\n<li>The Public\/Private keys are generated on the card itself, in a random procedure that is impossible to replicate and without the intervention of external.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u2018What you see is what you sign\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>The card includes a large screen of electronic ink, which allows the verification and validation of the transactions in detail. In this way, HASHWallet complies with the \u2018what you see is what you sign\u2019 (WYSIWYS) philosophy; users only sign what they see, and avoid the malicious attack known as \u201cman in the middle\u201d since no external devices are involved in the transactions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardlab.com\/\">CardLab <\/a>is a leading manufacturer of electronic smart cards for credit cards and other uses. Its technological innovations include the Snap Switch to turn on the card, and off when not in use, the biometric FPC1321 T-shape(TM) fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authorisation, the RFID jammer to prevent wireless hacking, the ability to communicate wirelessly with any host device and the ability to include a dual dynamic magnetic strip.<\/p>\n<p>Via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.innovationnewsnetwork.com\/cardlabs-new-smart-card-technology-to-be-six-times-more-efficient\/3441\/\">partnership with CardLab,<\/a> eSignus will be able to manufacture, in Q3 2020, a credit card-shaped hardware wallet with biometric authorisation that does not compromise privacy regulations. The wallet can include wireless and contactless NFC\/Bluetooth connectivity, plus other features that CardLab\u2019s unique expertise makes possible.
