The government is consulting on introducing new laws to strengthen the UK\u2019s resistance against possible cyber-attacks.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n
As cyber-attacks have increased in recent years, new cybersecurity laws are necessary\u00a0in order to\u00a0drive up security standards in outsourced IT services used by\u00a0the majority of\u00a0businesses in the UK.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
On 19 January 2022,\u00a0a number of\u00a0proposals were published to enhance cybersecurity efforts, including making improvements to the processes used by organisations when reporting cybersecurity incidents and restructuring legislation to ensure it is more flexible and can respond to the speed of technological change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
