\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\nCyber is revolutionising the way we live our lives and\u00a0thus our approach\u00a0to national security.\u00a0As a result,\u00a0the UK is taking a new,\u00a0thorough\u00a0approach to\u00a0reinforce\u00a0its position as an\u00a0accountable\u00a0and democratic cyber power,\u00a0capable of promoting and protecting\u00a0our interests in and through cyberspace.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThe National Cyber Strategy builds on the advancements made in the field over the last five years\u00a0which has seen the UK cyber security sector grow exponentially, with 1,400 businesses generating \u00a38.9bn in revenue last year, as well as providing 46,700 skilled jobs and attracting a large amount of overseas investment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nBy implementing this new strategy, the government is calling on all\u00a0areas\u00a0of society to play their part in strengthening the UK\u2019s economic and strategic strengths in cyberspace. This means the necessity of\u00a0more diversity in the workforce, levelling up the cyber sector across all\u00a0regions in the\u00a0UK,\u00a0escalating\u00a0offensive and defensive cyber\u00a0facilities\u00a0and\u00a0focusing on\u00a0cyber security in the workplace,\u00a0boardrooms\u00a0and digital supply chains.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThis National Cyber Strategy reinforces\u00a0the UK\u2019s\u00a0cyber security so we can follow and endorse our interests with confidence. It is\u00a0anticipated to\u00a0keep\u00a0us ahead of our\u00a0adversaries and\u00a0bolster\u00a0our\u00a0capability\u00a0to act in cyberspace, as well as our\u00a0capability\u00a0to shape tomorrow\u2019s technologies so they are safe,\u00a0secure\u00a0and open.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
